I began my post-college
career in marketing, but quickly made a move to the fast-paced Internet
industry in 1998. I was a producer on two sister e-commerce sites,
as well as an Information Architect for one of them, before joining
the interactive agency Concrete Media as a User Interface Architect
in 2000. Following its closing a year later, I continued to freelance
as a Lead Information Architect at various interactive agencies
in New York.
I have led user experience efforts on diverse web projects from
commercial websites to government sponsored work. In 2003, a desire
to explore interaction beyond the Internet led me to pursue graduate
studies at Carnegie Mellon University, where I am now a Master's
student in Interaction Design. In my work I am currently pursuing
interests in service design, information visualization and public
design. |
