Intermorphable Alphabet

2004 /

Overview

The objective of this project was to create a custom graphic alphabet in the Processing language using graphic primitives. All letters were to conform to the same structuring logic, such as letters constructed from 3 arcs, 4 rectangles or 7 triangles, etc. The letters must smoothly morph into any other letter, from the press of that letter’s key on the keyboard.

In the final solution, 2 triangles form each letter of the Roman alphabet. Once applet is loaded to the right, click on the yellow background. Press any alphabet key to watch it morph into that letter.
