Clinique’s original US e-commerce website had significant usability issues, and they were beginning to lose longtime customers to new sites like Sephora, which had superior color representation and were easier to use. Clinique selected Ultra16 to completely rearchitect and redesign the website. The database categorization of their products was adjusted to be scalable for the addition of both new categories at all levels, as well as new and seasonal products. The new site is flexible and modular and easily accommodates regularly changing content. This structure and design created six years ago remains in place today.
