In this three-week project, the objective was to improve an existing service or reposition a service to target a new set of users. My partner and I chose to look at potential innovations to the Whole Foods experience. Because of Whole Foods’ relative success and highly positive brand perception, it would be a significant and exciting challenge to come up with additional services for the company.
Following a research phase, a few concepts emerged, such as an in-store cookbook collection, an area to have coffee and browse recipes, or a guided tour to introduce new exotic items. The final presentation describes existing service ecologies and suggests service ideas, culminating in a future state scenario depicting an illustration of one concept.
